Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to operate the website, maintain a shopping cart or session, remember preferences, help protect the Services, understand use of the Services, measure communications and campaigns, and, if enabled, support advertising. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although disabling necessary cookies may affect website functionality.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional choices regarding non-essential cookies or similar technologies. If we use technology that is treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will provide any legally required opt-out mechanism and recognize qualifying preference signals where required.

Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us at pretzels@unclehenry.com. We may continue to send non-promotional communications, such as messages about orders, accounts, transactions, security, or customer-service matters.

We do not currently describe text-message marketing because the client reports that it does not send marketing texts. This Policy should be updated before implementing a text-message marketing program.

Payment Processing

Payments made through the website may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Those providers collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. If you choose to save a payment method for future use, the payment provider may store the payment credentials and make a saved payment method available through a token or similar mechanism. We do not intend to store complete card numbers or card security codes on our own systems.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, protect against fraud or misuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the purpose for which it is maintained, and applicable legal or operational requirements. When personal information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to lawful exceptions.

Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should use care when transmitting information electronically and protect account credentials from unauthorized use.

Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information online from a child under 13 without authorization required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information may contact us using the information below.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may request information about, or changes to, certain personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you reside and whether an applicable privacy law covers our activities, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of certain personal information; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a decision regarding a privacy request. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements.

To submit a privacy request, contact pretzels@unclehenry.com or use the contact information below. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and process your request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

The website displays reviews attributed to third-party sources, including Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Amazon. We do not control third-party privacy practices. Your interactions with those third parties are governed by their privacy notices, terms, and settings. We encourage you to review them before providing personal information.
